据中新网宜昌9月28日电(记者郭晓莹)来自加拿大、西班牙、瑞典、柬埔寨等国家的海外华文媒体代表28日走进三峡工程，深入了解三峡工程百年圆梦的历程和巨大的综合效益。
China News Service,Yichang,Sept.28(Reporter Guo Xiaoying)—Overseas Chinese media representatives from Canada,Spain,Sweden,Cambodia,and other countries visited the Three Gorges Project on the28th to gain an in-depth understanding of the century-long dream it fulfills and the enormous comprehensive benefits it delivers.

当日上午，海外华文媒体代表抵达世界规模最大的水电工程专题博物馆——三峡工程博物馆参观。西班牙《欧洲侨声报》副社长黄美说，从水患肆虐到大江安澜，从川江险途到黄金水道，三峡工程是属于中国独有的“硬核浪漫”，身为中华儿女，感到无比自豪。
That morning,the representatives visited the world’s largest hydropower-themed museum—the Three Gorges Project Museum.Huang Mei,deputy director ofEuropean Overseas Chinese Voice(Spain),said:“From devastating floods to tranquil rivers,from perilous voyages on the upper Yangtze to today’s golden waterway,the Three Gorges Project embodies China’s unique‘hardcore romance.’As a daughter of China,I feel immense pride.”

防洪是三峡工程的首要功能。从26日起，三峡水库泄洪腾库，以应对秋汛，确保防洪安全。当日泄洪仍在持续，巨大的水流通过深孔倾泻而下，海外华文媒体代表在三峡截流纪念园目睹了这一壮观场景。
Flood control is the primary function of the Three Gorges Project.Since the26th,the reservoir has been discharging water to make room for the autumn flood season,ensuring flood control safety.The discharge continued that day,with massive torrents rushing down through the spillway outlets.At the Three Gorges Closure Memorial Park,the overseas media representatives witnessed this spectacular sight.
“拦洪削峰，护长江安澜，三峡工程不愧为国之重器。”柬埔寨《柬华日报》副总编杜冰玉感慨道，三峡工程既是效益巨大的水电工程，更是彪炳千秋的民生工程。
“Detaining floods and reducing peaks,safeguarding the Yangtze’s peace—the Three Gorges Project truly deserves to be called a national treasure,”said Du Bingyu,deputy editor-in-chief of Cambodia’sJianhua Daily.“It is not only a hydropower project of immense benefit but also a livelihood project that will be remembered for generations.”

三峡集团数据显示，三峡水库自蓄水运用以来，单库和联合梯级水库群拦洪运用累计70余次，拦洪总量超2200亿立方米；三峡船闸、三峡升船机历年累计通过货运量分别超22亿吨、1900万吨，共有200万人次旅客通过三峡升船机；三峡电站累计生产清洁电能超1.8万亿千瓦时。
According to data from China Three Gorges Corporation,since its initial impoundment,the reservoir has been used more than70times for single-reservoir and joint cascade flood control,intercepting a total of over220billion cubic meters of floodwater.The Three Gorges ship locks and ship lift have handled more than2.2billion tons and19million tons of cargo,respectively,and transported some2million passengers.The Three Gorges Power Station has generated over18trillion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity in total.
瑞典《北欧时报》副总编赵娟表示，亲临三峡工程震撼我心，过去在电视上看没有这种愚公移山的感觉，中国人民的创造力太强了，虽然三峡工程与瑞典ABB有很多合作，很多瑞典人并未知晓，今天来到现场参观才真正感觉到国家的实力，感觉到中国三峡比瑞典还要低调，因为我们有不一样的实力摆在眼前。我们这几天连续采访，为的是大力宣传湖北，以及得天独厚的“汉”文化。(完)
Zhao Juan,deputy editor-in-chief of Nordic Chinese Times(Sweden),said:“Being on-site at the Three Gorges Project was truly overwhelming.Watching it on television in the past never gave me such a strong feeling of‘moving mountains like Yu Gong.’The creativity of the Chinese people is astonishing.Although the Three Gorges Project has had extensive cooperation with Sweden’s ABB,many Swedes are not even aware of it.It is only by visiting in person today that I can truly feel the strength of the nation.In fact,I feel that China’s Three Gorges is even more low-key than Sweden,because the strength before our eyes speaks for itself.Over the past few days,we have been conducting continuous interviews with the aim of vigorously promoting Hubei,as well as its unique and profound‘Han’culture.”(End)
