据中新社武汉10月29日电(记者马芙蓉)第七届楚商大会29日在武汉开幕，聚焦新产业、新技术、新应用场景。大会期间达成合作项目57个，总金额676亿元(人民币，下同)。
开幕式上，18个项目现场签约，涉及光电子信息、新能源、节能环保、大健康、高端装备、生物医药、算力与大数据等领域。全球楚商代表、海内外湖北商会代表等1100余人见证签约。
楚商是湖北商人的统称，也是湖北发展的重要支撑。今年以来，湖北以乡情为纽带，大规模推动楚商产业回归、资本回流、项目回投、总部回迁、人才回乡。
第七届楚商大会由中共湖北省委、湖北省人民政府主办，将主体活动与全年楚商回乡、招商推介等重点工作结合，以“楚商向新同行回乡共建支点”为主题，围绕科技创新、绿色低碳、国际化发展、青年楚商成长等专题举办系列活动。
澳大利亚楚商联合会会长李治峰率生物制药、科技创投等领域会员代表参会。看中湖北科教、区位、产业优势的他，于今年在湖北鄂州投资兴建了中澳国际科技产业基地。以这次楚商大会为契机，他将推进该项目向湖北黄冈地区延伸。
新加坡南洋国际俱乐部湖北分会执行会长赵晓通表示，将加强湖北南洋科技创新中心建设，吸引更多海外科技人才和项目到湖北落地转化，并推动湖北企业与海外企业在智能制造、AI技术、智能康养等领域深度合作。
今年以来，湖北已在北京、香港以及瑞典等地打造一批楚商之家、楚商回乡联络站；已开展“楚商回乡共建支点”专题活动1800多场，签约投资亿元以上项目6597个。(完)
7th Chu Business Conference Opens in Wuhan,57Cooperation Projects Reached

China News Service,Wuhan,Oct.29(Reporter Ma Furong)—The7th Chu Business Conference opened in Wuhan on the29th,focusing on new industries,new technologies,and new application scenarios.A total of57cooperation projects were reached during the conference,with a total investment of67.6billion yuan(RMB,the same below).
At the opening ceremony,18projects were signed on-site,involving fields such as optoelectronic information,new energy,energy conservation and environmental protection,big health,high-end equipment,biomedicine,computing power and big data.More than1,100representatives of Chu business groups worldwide and representatives of Hubei business associations at home and abroad witnessed the signing.
“Chu Business”is a collective term for businesspeople from Hubei,and they are an important pillar for Hubei’s development.Since the beginning of this year,Hubei has used hometown ties as a link to vigorously promote the return of industrial projects,capital,corporate headquarters,and talent connected to Chu entrepreneurs.
Hosted by the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Hubei Provincial People’s Government,the7th Chu Business Conference integrates its main activities with year-round key initiatives such as Chu entrepreneurs returning to their hometowns and investment promotion.With the theme“Chu Entrepreneurs Embracing the New,Returning Home to Build a Strategic Pivot,”the conference features a series of events centering on topics including scientific and technological innovation,green and low-carbon development,internationalization,and nurturing young Chu entrepreneurs.
Li Zhifeng,President of the Australian Chu Business Federation,led members from the biopharmaceutical and venture science&technology investment sectors to attend the conference.Attracted by Hubei’s advantages in science and education,location,and industrial base,he invested this year in building the China-Australia International Science and Technology Industrial Base in Ezhou,Hubei.Leveraging this conference,he plans to expand related project development into the Huanggang area.
Zhao Xiaotong,Executive President of the Hubei Branch of Singapore’s Nanyang International Club,said that efforts will be made to strengthen the construction of the Hubei Nanyang Science and Technology Innovation Center,attract more overseas talents and projects to land and transform in Hubei,and promote in-depth cooperation between Hubei enterprises and overseas counterparts in smart manufacturing,AI technology,and smart elderly care.
Since the beginning of this year,Hubei has established several“Homes for Chu Entrepreneurs”and liaison stations for returning Chu business projects in Beijing,Hong Kong,Sweden,and other locations.More than1,800activities themed“Chu Entrepreneurs Return Home to Build the Strategic Pivot”have been carried out,resulting in the signing of6,597projects each with investment over100million yuan.
