2026年3月12日，新任中国驻瑞典大使周立民抵瑞履新，瑞外交部官员和驻瑞使馆主要外交官到机场迎接。

周大使在机场发表书面讲话表示，中瑞友好源远流长，两国建交76年来，双方关系总体保持平稳发展，为两国和两国人民带来福祉，也为世界和平繁荣作出重要贡献。在当前变乱交织的国际形势下，中国愿与包括瑞典在内的世界各国共同发出坚持开放合作的强音，为世界注入更多稳定性、确定性和正能量。作为新任大使，将同瑞典社会各界携手努力，赓续传统友好、增进政治互信、深化务实合作、促进人文交流，推动中瑞关系不断向前发展。周立民是第二十二任中国驻瑞典大使。

New Chinese Ambassador to Sweden Zhou Limin Arrives in Sweden

On March12,2026,Mr.Zhou Limin,the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Sweden,arrived in Sweden to assume office.Ambassador Zhou was greeted at the airport by officials from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden and senior diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in Sweden.

Ambassador Zhou stated in his written remarks that China and Sweden have a long history of friendly relations.Over the past76years since the establishment of diplomatic ties,China-Sweden relations have maintained steady development on the whole,bringing benefits to both countries and peoples,and making important contributions to world peace and prosperity.In this turbulent and changing world,China stands ready to work together with all countries,including Sweden,to send a strong message in support of openness and cooperation,and to bring more stability,certainty,and positive energy to the world.As the new Ambassador,he will work hand in hand with all sectors of the Swedish society to carry forward traditional friendship,enhance political mutual trust,deepen practical cooperation,and promote people-to-people exchanges,so as to keep moving China-Sweden relations forward.
