Nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize come in from all over the world and are submitted to theNorwegian Nobel Committee,which is responsible for selecting the laureates.Anyone who meets the nominator criteria can put forward a candidate and explain why they believe that person or organisation deserves the prize.This makes the peace prize unique compared to many other awards,where the committee itself decides both the nominees and the winners.诺贝尔和平奖的提名来自世界各地，提交给挪威诺贝尔委员会，该委员会负责最终遴选获奖者。凡是符合提名人资格的人都可以推荐候选人，并说明其认为该人或组织值得获奖的理由。这使和平奖与许多其他奖项不同，后者通常由委员会同时决定提名和获奖者。
