Education is different across the world
Education is different across the world,so we believe in sharing international experiences with others. This summer,we had a visit from students and teachers from WESP Qingwa international camp in Shanghai.
Curious to explore international education in Latvia, learn about the IB DP program, and get insight into how our school is set up—the students and teachers took a campus tour. The guests discovered Exupery’s science labs, libraries, spacious classrooms, sports hall, but most importantly connected with our students and staff. After sharing stories about academic achievements and school life, the students decided to draw a picture together. The drawing"Under the Same Blue Sky"shows two cultural heritage sites from Latvia and China together—the Cat House and Suzhou Gardens. The students even decided to submit the drawing to the"Colorful World"International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition competition.
Even if the drawing doesn't win,the simple yet bonding activity has helped create new friendships. So,we’ll be excited to welcome students and teachers from WESP Qingwa back to EIS for more team-ups in the future!
The visit was also highlighted in the Nordic Chinese Times newspaper.
