“世界市长对话·南宁”活动在邕举行
（本报南宁讯）1月16日，“世界市长对话·南宁”活动在南宁开幕，来自中国、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸、泰国、越南等8个国家12个城市市长或市长代表齐聚邕城，通过深入对话交流，为推动构建更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体开拓思路、贡献智慧。
广西壮族自治区党委常委、宣传部部长陈奕君出席活动。自治区党委常委、南宁市委书记农生文，老挝万象市市长阿萨庞通·西潘敦，越南谅山市委副书记、人民委员会主席阮文幸分别致辞。自治区副主席廖品琥，国务院新闻办公室国际传播局副局长温革，越南、柬埔寨、泰国、老挝、缅甸、马来西亚驻南宁总领事馆官员等出席。
农生文在致辞中表示，作为中国—东盟博览会永久举办地，近年来，南宁紧紧围绕国家赋予建设面向东盟开放合作的国际化大都市新定位，搭建起中国—东盟交流交往的重要桥梁纽带，实现了经贸、科技、人文等领域的双向奔赴。南宁市愿与各方携起手来，进一步深化地方友好交往、互联互通建设、开放平台建设、跨境产业合作和人文交流互鉴，充分发挥“南宁渠道”作用，推动中国—东盟自贸区3.0版建设和高质量共建“一带一路”中实现互促共进、共兴共荣。
在“世界市长对话·南宁”主活动中，来自中国南宁市、老挝万象市、缅甸仰光市、泰国素叻他尼府、马来西亚吉打州、越南芒街市、柬埔寨暹粒市、印度尼西亚马塔兰市的市长或市长代表，共同探讨“共建中国—东盟友好家园：城市开放与合作”的重要议题，为开拓全球城市治理的新路径，描绘区域可持续发展新蓝图献计献策。
侯刚分享了南宁市在城市开放与经济合作、人文交流与文化交融、城市治理经验等方面的探索和实践。他说，南宁市通过不断做大做强开放平台，推动与东盟国家基础设施“硬联通”、规则标准“软联通”、人文交流“心联通”，吸引越来越多东盟乃至世界各地的企业、项目落地南宁，为谱写更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体注入新动力。侯刚还以南宁城市水系治理实践为案例介绍了南宁在城市治理方面的经验，以及南宁如何通过一系列教育、文化、体育交流活动，促进与东盟国家人文交流与文化交融。
在主活动上，与会各国城市代表联合发布了《南宁倡议》，倡议提出，深化城市友好交往，为推动构建更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体贡献力量；深化城市经贸合作，让发展成果更好惠及中国和东盟各国人民；深化城市民心交融，为共建中国—东盟和平家园、安宁家园、繁荣家园、美丽家园和友好家园作出积极努力。
活动期间，南宁市和缅甸仰光市签署2025—2026年度友好交流计划备忘录，举行重大交流合作项目集中签约仪式，推动经贸、物流运输、教育、旅游等14个项目实现签约，对外合作投资超33亿元人民币。

“World Mayors Dialogue·Nanning”Held in Nanning
On January16,the“World Mayors Dialogue·Nanning”event opened in Nanning,bringing together mayors or representatives from12cities in eight countries,including China,Cambodia,Indonesia,Laos,Malaysia,Myanmar,Thailand,and Vietnam.Through in-depth dialogue and exchanges,participants sought to contribute ideas and insights toward building a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
Chen Yijun,Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Minister of the Publicity Department,attended the event.Nong Shengwen,Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Nanning Municipal Party Committee;Asapengthong Siphandone,Mayor of Vientiane,Laos;and Nguyen Van Hanh,Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee,delivered speeches.Liao Pinhu,Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Wen Ge,Deputy Director of the International Communication Bureau of the State Council Information Office,and officials from the consulates of Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand,Laos,Myanmar,and Malaysia in Nanning were also in attendance.
In his speech,Nong Shengwen highlighted that as the permanent host city of the China-ASEAN Expo,Nanning has been leveraging its new role as an international metropolis for cooperation with ASEAN.The city has built a vital bridge for China-ASEAN exchanges,achieving mutual progress in trade,technology,and cultural interactions.Nanning is eager to deepen friendly exchanges,enhance connectivity,build open platforms,foster cross-border industrial cooperation,and promote cultural exchanges with its partners.By fully utilizing the“Nanning Channel,”the city aims to contribute to the construction of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area3.0and high-quality implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative,ensuring mutual progress and shared prosperity.
During the main event,mayors and representatives from cities including Nanning,Vientiane,Yangon(Myanmar),Surat Thani(Thailand),Kedah(Malaysia),Mong Cai(Vietnam),Siem Reap(Cambodia),and Mataram(Indonesia)discussed the theme“Building a Friendly Homeland Between China and ASEAN:Urban Openness and Cooperation.”They exchanged ideas on exploring new pathways for global urban governance and proposed blueprints for sustainable regional development.
Hou Gang shared Nanning’s experiences in urban openness,economic cooperation,cultural exchanges,and governance.He noted how Nanning has expanded its open platforms to promote“hard connectivity”in infrastructure,“soft connectivity”in rules and standards,and“heart-to-heart connectivity”in cultural exchanges with ASEAN countries.These efforts have attracted enterprises and projects from ASEAN and around the world to Nanning,injecting fresh momentum into the vision of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.Using the city’s water system governance as a case study,Hou Gang also highlighted Nanning’s achievements in urban governance and its cultural and sports exchange programs that foster deeper ties with ASEAN countries.
During the main event,representatives of participating cities jointly issued the Nanning Initiative,which called for:
Deepening friendly exchanges between cities to contribute to a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
Strengthening economic and trade cooperation between cities to ensure development benefits reach the people of China and ASEAN countries.
Promoting mutual understanding among the people to build a peaceful,secure,prosperous,beautiful,and friendly homeland for China and ASEAN.
During the event,Nanning and Yangon signed the2025-2026Memorandum of Understanding on Friendly Exchanges and held a concentrated signing ceremony for major collaborative projects.These included agreements on14projects across trade,logistics,education,and tourism,with a total investment of over3.3billion RMB.
