Entering the Changshengchuan Dark Brick Tea Industrial Park,a faint tea fragrance fills the air.A tea master pries off pieces of the dark brown tea brick with a tea knife and brews them in boiling water.The resulting tea soup is bright orange-red,releasing a rich aroma.

“入口滋味醇香、甜润,从茶汤的颜色及口感中,能充分证明其好品质。”老挝资讯网副总经理杨芳说,青砖茶属于发酵茶,茶叶种植、加工工艺、存储条件均影响品质,环环相扣。
“The taste is mellow and sweet,and both the color and flavor of the tea soup prove its high quality,”said Yang Fang,Deputy General Manager of Laos Information Network.She noted that dark brick tea is a type of fermented tea,where cultivation,processing,and storage all influence quality.

“抓住健康养生、多场景使用等消费需求,我们成立了青砖茶功能性研究市级重点实验室,以长盛川青砖茶为基础,研制200多种产品,覆盖原叶茶、调饮茶、创新茶饮等多个品类。”湖北长盛川青砖茶研究所文化中心副主任简妮斯说,目前新品已占整体业务的五成。
“By addressing consumer demand for health and multi-scenario use,we established a municipal key laboratory for functional research on dark brick tea.Based on Changshengchuan brick tea,we have developed more than200products covering loose-leaf tea,blended teas,and innovative tea beverages,”said Janice,Deputy Director of the Cultural Center of Hubei Changshengchuan Dark Brick Tea Institute.“Currently,new products account for half of our business.”

In the industrial chain,it streamlined blending and packaging for export tea,building a complete chain covering primary processing,refinement,blending,small packaging,and export.It also established supply chain cooperation with hundreds of tea enterprises and cooperatives.
目前,宜昌被农业农村部规划为长江中上游特色和出口绿茶的重点区域,全市茶叶加工厂达1200余家,茶产品销往全球50多个国家和地区。
Today,Yichang is designated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as a key region for specialty and export green tea in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.The city has more than1,200tea processing factories,and its products are exported to over50countries and regions.
