11月15日，在赶往广西罗城棉花天坑悬崖书店之前，北欧时报社长何儒便向我提起了这个独特的地方。作为曾经的出版人、如今的媒体人，我对书店怀有天然的亲近感，而“唯一建在露天悬崖上的书店”这一描述，更让我心生向往。
On November15,before I set off to visit the Cliffside Bookstore in the Cotton Flower Sinkhole of Luocheng,Guangxi,Mr.He Ru,the president of Nordic Chinese Times,told me about this extraordinary place.As a former publisher and now a media professional,I have a natural affinity for books and bookstores.When I heard it was the only bookstore built on an exposed cliff,my curiosity was instantly awakened.
当夜幕降临，灯光亮起，矗立于天坑悬崖上的“悬崖书店”，如一幅奇幻的画卷出现在眼前。几千册书籍在灯光中静静伫立，仿佛守候着每日慕名而来的数千游客。背靠陡峭崖壁，面朝苍茫天地，书店与棉花天坑的自然环境浑然一体，令人震撼。
As night fell and lights began to glow,the Cliffside Bookstore stood majestically against the sinkhole—like a scene from a dream.Thousands of books stood quietly under the soft glow,waiting for the thousands of visitors who arrive each day.Backed by steep cliffs and facing a vast landscape,the bookstore blends seamlessly with the natural splendor of the Cotton Flower Sinkhole—truly breathtaking.
这不仅是一间书店，更是自然与人文——大地与文明之间的灵巧对话。自今年5月开业至今，悬崖书店累计接待游客已超过10万人次，无数书籍陈列于崖壁之间，以“脚下是地心世界，心中是历史文明和人类未来”为精神标识，成为文旅融合的生动实践。
It is not just a bookstore;it is a dialogue between nature and culture—between earth and civilization.Since its opening in May this year,the bookstore has welcomed over100,000visitors.Thousands of books displayed on the cliff reflect its motto:“Beneath your feet is the center of the earth,in your heart are the roots of civilization and the future of humanity.”It has become a vivid example of cultural tourism integration.
从“荒山野岭”到“网红打卡地”
From Remote Mountain Village to Internet Sensation
难以想象，如今网红打卡地——棉花天坑，曾被层层大山阻隔。由于海拔高、缺水严重，村民只靠种植玉米、红薯换粮为生，生活困苦。
It is hard to believe that the now famous Cotton Flower Sinkhole was once an isolated mountain area.With its high elevation and severe water shortage,villagers could only rely on corn and sweet potatoes for survival,living in poverty.
直到2019年，当地政府招商引资，投资数亿元，打造棉花天坑景区。平坦的公路接通山村，稳定的水电设施让人心安。很多外出务工的村民陆续返乡，通过经营民宿、农家乐实现增收致富，“旅游饭”不仅改变了村民的生活，也开启了乡村振兴的新篇章。
In2019,the local government introduced major investment of hundreds of millions of yuan to develop the Cotton Flower Sinkhole Tourism Area.Flat roads and reliable water and electricity infrastructure transformed the village.Many migrant workers returned home,opening guesthouses and restaurants.Tourism not only changed their livelihoods—it opened a new chapter in rural revitalization.
为了让游客真正愿意“千里奔赴”，景区深挖仫佬族的文化底蕴：建立非遗长廊、仫佬族文化馆，举办天坑音乐会、仫佬族篝火晚会、舞草龙等活动，让游客近距离感受仫佬族的风土人情，文化魅力在现代光影中焕发新生。
To attract visitors from afar,the scenic area highlights the cultural heritage of the Mulao ethnic group:building intangible cultural heritage corridors,a cultural museum,and hosting sinkhole concerts,Mulao bonfire nights,and dragon grass dances.These elements immerse visitors in Mulao traditions,giving ancient culture a fresh expression in a modern setting.
如今的棉花村，泥砖瓦房已变成整洁平房，破旧的大屋获修缮一新。全村上千人因旅游受益，节假日游客络绎不绝，停车场常常爆满，民宿更要提前预订。曾经沉寂的“空巢村”重新焕发生机，炊烟袅袅，笑声回荡。
Today,clay and brick houses have been replaced by clean and modern homes.Old houses have been renovated.Over1,000villagers benefit from tourism.During holidays,parking lots overflow and guesthouses require advance booking.The once quiet“empty village”is now full of life,with smoke rising from kitchens and laughter heard throughout.
乡村振兴的力量，从“悬崖书店”向深山延伸
The Power of Rural Revitalization Extends from the Bookstore into the Mountains
“村民现在成了景区的工作人员，游客来体验民族文化，村民就在家门口挣钱。”何志坚说道。景区正计划扩大民宿规模，提供高、中、低档次不同选择，并将仫佬族民居风格融入装修，将仫佬民族的养生饮食文化融入日常体验，让游客不仅“来此观光”，更能在此“康养身心”。
“Villagers have become staff of the scenic area.Tourists come to enjoy the culture,and villagers earn money right at home,”said Chairman He Zhijian.The scenic area plans to expand guesthouse options to suit different budgets,incorporate Mulao architectural styles,and integrate Mulao health culture into daily food and lodging services,allowing visitors not just to sightsee—but also to relax and rejuvenate.
“为社会担责，为政府分忧，让百姓致富”，这样的理念值得提倡与推广。这不仅是一项文旅工程，更是一种文化使命、社会责任，一种对乡村未来的美好承诺。
“Taking responsibility for society,supporting the government,and enabling people to prosper.”Such a vision is worthy of recognition and replication.This project is not just about tourism—it symbolizes a cultural mission,social responsibility,and a hopeful promise for the future of rural China.

笔者在北欧旅居二十多年，对北欧瑞典原生态保护、人与自然的和谐共生印象深刻。不少音乐工作室和创意设计工作室建于山林之间，不随意破坏任何一颗石头；甚至连教堂也建在岩石中——著名的芬兰岩石教堂便是最好的例子。
Having lived in the Nordic countries for over20years,I have been deeply impressed by the environmental protection and harmony between humans and nature in Sweden.Many music and creative studios are built within the forests,without disturbing even a single stone.Some churches are even built into the rock—most famously,Helsinki’s Temppeliaukio Church in Finland.
棉花天坑悬崖书店的出现，正是这样一种理念在中国乡村的独特体现。它以极致尊重自然的方式，赋予景观全新文化意义，也为乡村振兴探索了一条兼顾生态与文化、精神与商业的全新路径。
