北欧的三月，冰雪初融，波罗的海的风仍带着寒意。就在这样的季节里，新任中华人民共和国驻瑞典王国特命全权大使周立民抵达斯德哥尔摩履新。

1950年，瑞典成为第一个与新中国建立外交关系的西方国家。
在那个世界仍被冷战阴影笼罩的年代，这一决定既需要远见，也需要勇气。瑞典以其一贯的独立外交传统，为新中国打开了一扇通向西方世界的大门。历史证明，这一选择不仅影响了中瑞两国关系，也成为中国与欧洲关系发展的重要开端。

March in the Nordic world marks the slow melting of winter.The Baltic winds still carry a trace of cold,yet spring quietly approaches.
It was in this Nordic season thatAmbassador Zhou Liminarrived in Stockholm to assume his post as the22nd Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Sweden.
His arrival naturally reminds us of a remarkable historical milestone.
In1950,Sweden becamethe first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China.
At a time when the world was deeply divided by Cold War tensions,that decision required both vision and courage.Sweden’s independent diplomatic tradition opened an early gateway between China and the Western world.

For the Chinese community living in Sweden,this history carries personal meaning.Generations of Chinese students,entrepreneurs,and families have built lives in this Nordic country,serving as bridges between two societies.
The Chinese community warmly welcomes Ambassador Zhou Limin and looks forward to his tenure.
