前两天收到了好友世龙发来他翻译和演唱的《我和我的祖国》，很让我惊喜。
世龙英语功底深厚，翻译雅致而又达意，嗓音亮美，宽阔浑厚，我一连听了好几遍，只觉余音绕梁，久徊于耳。

这首由张藜作词和秦咏诚在1985年创作的抒情歌曲，以第一人称的手法，表达作者和歌者对华夏大地的深深热爱，深受大众的喜爱。
此前也听过其它的英文版本，总觉着没有体现出原词者所表达的意境，世龙的翻译和演唱赏心悦耳，实是一大享受。

记得高中（也是文革）时读过旗手的杂文《‘硬译’与‘文学的阶级性’》，从鲁迅批梁实秋的这篇杂文里方知翻译有硬译、直译、死译、曲译等。
不过那时只是识其字不解其意，除了那本保尔·柯察金的《钢铁是怎样炼成的》外，没有读过什么译作。当然如果没有机会或看得懂原著，也就无法区别了。直到78年初进交大学了英文，能到图书馆看得懂一点原著，才对硬译、直译和严复先生提倡的的信达雅有所了解。
说实话，文学艺术作品的翻译，老杨认为应该是雅达信才好，不同的语言文学技巧差别很大，框架于原著的基础上必须体现出雅，否则就失去了文学性。
